You make lots of decisions every day. Some of these you may consider bad decisions. We don't need to go over those again! Some you consider good, occasionally you make great decisions.
Think about one of the great decisions you have made. One of those decisions where, coming up to it, you already knew which choice you were going to make. You knew as you were making the decision that it was a good decision. And even thinking back on it, there are still positive consequences and you know for sure you made the right choice.
Got one? Great. Now you know you can make good decisions.
We've established that you can, and you know who you are. Now you're ready to consider the process of making decisions. This is the doing part that stems from your being.
Remember that successful people move in the direction of Be - Do - Have. Be who you want to be. Then learn to do the things necessary so you can have what you want.
This is the stage where you decide what you want and choose between the various options available to you, or even create new options.
So what constitutes a good decision? At what stage will you know whether it's a good or a bad decision?
It all depends at the stage of the process at which you are asking the question. It also depends on the criteria you're using to evaluate your decision.
